The usual rescues
Dead phones
Won't turn on, boot loops, charge-port failures. The storage is usually fine — we fix enough of the phone to get your data out.
Water-damaged phones
Turn it off. Bring it in fast. Do not put it in rice. Corrosion is the clock — early arrivals have great odds.
Board-level recovery

Failing hard drives
Corruption, deleted files, drives on their last legs but still readable. We image first, recover second — never work on the only copy.

Common questions
My phone is dead — can you get my photos off it?
Often, yes. A phone that will not turn on usually still has intact storage — the problem is everything around it. We repair the phone far enough to pull your data, or in harder cases go board-level to reach the storage directly. Water-damaged phones: the sooner you bring it in, the better the odds.
Can you recover files from a failing hard drive or SSD?
It depends on how it failed, and we are honest about which kind you have. Drives with logical failures (corruption, accidental deletion, dying-but-readable) are often recoverable here. Drives with physical damage (clicking, not spinning) need a cleanroom lab — we will tell you that upfront and point you at reputable options instead of making it worse.
Is recovery guaranteed?
No — and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. What we promise instead: an honest assessment of the odds before you spend anything, no charge if we recover nothing on jobs we quoted as recoverable, and we never make a device worse trying.
What does it cost?
Phone data recovery: free diagnostic like any phone job, then a quote. Hard drives and computers: the diagnostic itself is quoted case-by-case depending on labor, and we tell you the number before we start.
Is my data private?
Yes. We are not interested in your photos, messages, or files — we recover, we hand over, we delete our working copies. Same policy as everything else we do: what is on your device stays yours.
How long does recovery take?
Simple pulls can be same-day. Water-damage and board-level recoveries go on the solder-bench queue and take longer — we give you a realistic ETA at drop-off.
